Fiera & Festival delle Foreste – a trade fair and Forest Festival will be held on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September 2019. It is the first edition of a high technical and technological event showcasing everything related to forests, to the processing and use of woods in the aftermath of the so called Vaia Storm that devastated the mountain territory of the Veneto region and neighbouring areas.

The topics that will be addressed will cover all sectors related to forests and wood. The public agency Veneto Agricolutura and other industry associations will collaborate in the organisation of the event.
The event will take place in Longarone (Belluno) -a strategic position in terms of market potential- and is aimed in particular in mountain and hill areas throughout Italy, acknowledging that there is an huge and yet unexpressed potential for market development.
The protect that Longarone Fiere proposes includes both a forest related Trade Fair and a Forest Festival. The Festival, with its specific format, offers a rich set of cultural events, meetings, conferences, guided tours, courses and workshops that will provide a common framework and a single strong communication strategy to support the entire event.
